TASB Preparing to Serve: The Webinar for School Board Candidates was a great cornerstone on which to build my willingness to serve so that each student has the best available opportunities to advance and improve here in NISD. 60% of all participants said student achievement and district priorities are their focus. Many topics and questions were covered, but I was particularly attracted by the admonition to engage local community through listening. I am certain we can improve in this area and many others as we listen to one another and work together for the benefit of all.
