Conversations with my wife of more  than  40 years, Alicia, and dear friends, time spent in prayer and study, and seeing Nacogdoches ISD Board Meetings online and in person, led me to file for a position on the ballot to represent District 4 and the greater NISD family.

Monday, February 19, I filed paperwork naming Jeff Abt as the treasurer for this campaign. While visiting the District Support Center, I had the chance opportunity to meet Trustee G.W. Neal, Supt. Sandra Dowdy and Asst. Supt. Michael Martin.

I humbly ask for your support in the upcoming election, but more important than your vote, I hope you will make time to engage in Nacogdoches schools.
